My husband and I bought this about a month ago to save on propane costs this year....living in Northern MI we pay over $2000 in propane for one Winter! So far our electric bill went up $50 (but we are running 2 heaters, the other is a LASKO ceramic tower heater) and we have not had our propane go down at all. Our thermostat is set at 65 and these heaters keep the whole house (about 1000 sq ft) toasty all day, our furnace does kick on a few times at night....but so far a great investment!!!

I found that the heater generally does what it claims to do, except for the size of the room it is supposed to heat. We used it exclusively in our basement rec room and it had to struggle to get the room tempurature over 70 degrees running on high. Outside tempurature was normally in the mid thirties to the mid-forties. It ran very quietly, attractive and the remote system is great. The heater did not get hot, as advertised. It would probably work great in a smaller room such as a bedroom.

We just received our unit yesterday.Shipping was prompt.Customer service answered all our questions satisfactorily prior to receipt. We have an EDENPURE in use for 3yrs, & this seems to be as good or better & smaller & quieter. Performance so far is everything it claims. Very rapid heat-up; very quiet & efficient. Price is acceptable. It is adequate for our needs thus far for Utah winter. Very satisfied & it is an attractive piece of furniture. So far can highly recommend it. Long-time Amazon.com customer.
