Roller Nut Harvester Review

Roller Nut Harvester Review by Mary Jo Baumli

I use the device to harvest acorns. I made a better handle using three 6" pieces of 1" PVC and a 1" tee and filled the handle with mortar. Works well.

Roller Nut Harvester Review by Early Music Fan (Richmond, VA USA)

I bought this to pick up Hickory nuts from my yard. I've got 3 @$#! of them right in the front and they produce a lot of nuts. Unfortunatly @$#! squirrels eat them fast and leave shells all around.

This device is well built, the seller did a fantastic job with the price, shipping, and sending it fast. The device works well for round nuts but only fair when it comes to picking up the shells.

Still I'd recommend the device for picking up the nuts. For shells and massive amounts of nuts, using a 12 amp leaf blower with 200+ mph nozzle does a fair job. I guess nothing picks up nuts that are half buried in the dirt. If you blow at them too hard you just blow the soil away in a cloud and the nut stays there. I guess they are well-designed for procreation! Happy nutting! Grrrrrr!

Roller Nut Harvester Review by M. G. Chitty "Horse Slave" (Decatur, Al.)

This thing works okay if you don't have as many acorns as we do to pick up. You have to go back and forth over the same area over and over in order to pick up a few nuts, empty them, then go again. We found a rake and shovel work a lot better for the many trees we have and trying to get them up fast so our horses wouldn't eat them. Also, I found the same item at half the price after I ordered and used them so I couldn't send them back (we ordered 2).
They work---just very slowly.

Consumer LA Baby MT5250BWCS report

LA Baby MT5250BWCS Review by MrSmithsWife "YaYa" (North America)

I think my granddaughter likes this she's only 5 months old so she hasn't given me her opinion yet:) However the delivery was speedy & the price was right.

LA Baby MT5250BWCS Review by D. Cameron

I bought this mattress expecting memory foam like the mattresses for adults- where if you press on it you make a slight indentation so it is soft but you don't sink into it.

But now that I have it, if you didn't tell me it was memory foam I would not have known. It is very firm with a plastic cover. Pressing on it gives no indication that it's any different than any other mattress.

My son is sleeping on it fine, but then again he will sleep on just about anything.

It left me with the impression that I really should have just bought a regular (less expensive mattress). Would have made no difference.

LA Baby MT5250BWCS Review by Lindsay Turi Haught (Phoenix, AZ USA)

I bought this mattress for my 20 month old son. His previous mattress came with the crib we got from a friend, and the springs simply weren't up to his increasing weight. He would toss and turn repeatedly and wake up through the night more and more frequently. When I pushed on the mattress with a hand I could actually FEEL the springs. No wonder he hated it!

This mattress was a complete success. He fell asleep easily and stayed asleep through the night the first night we put this mattress in his crib. It was also much cheaper, even with shipping, than the memory foam crib mattress I could have bought at Baby's r' Us. The moisture resistant coating doesn't seem to impede the comfortableness of this mattress at all, and will undoubtedly prove to be a godsend when we start potty training.

My son's been sleeping on it for almost three months now, and I could not be more pleased with this mattress.

Lenox 500117214QST Review

Lenox 500117214QST Review by Mrs. H

Well. I must be a little color blind because I expected a bit more of a pink color. Upon really good inspection of not only individual pictures and the despribed color (taupe) I see that the set is exactly as described and shown in the stock photo. I did end up returning it because it wasnt what I wanted but I have to give it a 5 anyways because the set was still beautiful. I could also tell just by the feel and look of it that this was a set that could indeed go into a washing machine which is a major plus. I am not much of a neutral person in the first place but the set just looked so pretty in the photos I tried anyways. So this didnt work for me, but if I was into those colors, this would be an absolutely beautiful set. Amazon was wonderful with the return and the set arrived to me in 24 hours as stated. I would definantly recomend this set. But as I said pay attention to color. It is more of a few different shades of brown. The peices I perceived as pink are also more in the mauve line of color than pink. It is a pink with a purple undertone.

Lenox 500117214QST Review by Oceleia Coppage

I was not completely satisfied with my purchase of the Lenox Butterfly Meadow comforter set because the description of the product states there are feather filled pillows included and there are no pillows included. The set includes comforter, bed skirt and two pillow shams. I am going to keep it anyway, but the description for the product needs to be changed.

Lenox 500117214QST Review by Pattie

I love this bedding. It is well worth the money. It's very warm as I am always cold. It looks so nice in my room. I love the fact that the shams zip! This was a great buy!

J.K. Adams MWR-B12-N Review by R. Brincheck (Southfield, MI)

I have 4 of these kits that I have used to construct the racking system in my wine closet. They are fairly easy to assemble and all of the parts are made to specification so everything fits together well.

J.K. Adams MWR-B12-N Review by Lois Weddle

I didn't need anything except a rubber mallet to put this together. I didn't glue it, since I wasn't sure of the configuration I would prefer. I gave it a "step down" effect, which turned out just right. It's sturdy and unobtrusive. I bet I add more to it later on.

J.K. Adams MWR-B12-N Review by Michael J. Robinson "Mike" (Fargo, ND USA)

This wine rack was simple to put together and very sturdy. I suggest using a rubber mallet when building it.

Amco 711BK Review by Betty M. Schwartz "bschwartz44" (Toledo, OR USA)

I have used every jar opener made - from the most expensive to the least. THIS is the one that works every time! It is easy to store, easy to use and works on any jar - large or small. I wouldn't (couldn't!) be without one.

Amco 711BK Review by Phebe Vance "WISkye" (Northeast Wisconsin)

This jar opener has never failed. I LOVE not having to ask my husband for help! He likes it too. I am ordering several for Christmas "little" gifts.

Amco 711BK Review by Skippypup "Pat" (Jackson, MI USA)

I have had this opener for 26 years. Yes, 26 years! Got it as a wedding gift back in 1980 and I'm still using it. I love it and use it almost every day. It has never failed me and even kids can use this one. I'm ordering 2 more for my daughters for Christmas for their own apartments. Great kitchen tool, everyone should have one!

Mac SK65 Reviews

Mac SK65 Review by Canis latrans

I first tried a Mac side by side with a Global and a Forschner. A professional chef laid a piece of red bell pepper down and filleted the meat off the skin. I tried the same with all three knives. I came home from that knife skills class and ordered my own Mac santoku. Cutting is effortless and a pleasure. Even thick carrots and potatoes offer no challenge.
Buy this knife, and you will not be sorry.
My other knives just sit in the block and get jealous.
Be very careful, this knife is SHARP out of the box.
I suggest the Mac ceramic sharpening rod to go with this, to keep that edge.

Mac SK65 Review by A. Abbott (Nebraska)

I got this knife for christmas a couple years ago and use it constantly... The blade stays so sharp...it cuts an onion before I cry....so I liked it so much I got one for my sister-in-law for christmas this year...she loves it too!

Mac SK65 Review by C. Dougal

About 45 years ago, I purchased this knife in a neighborhood cooking shop. I asked the salesman about sharpening and he showed me that I could pass its blade gently on the rough ceramic base of a coffee mug. I have used and abused this knife for years and it has never failed. A few weeks ago, it was misplaced by houseguests who were cooking in my kitchen. After frantic searches, I ordered another Mac knife, the mac MTH 80 8" version. By the time it arrived, I had found the smaller one. Now I have two great knives that will certainly outlast me. I think I'll put them in my will for future generations.
